The Gnat and the Lion

The mosquito has arrived and has told to the Lion, " I really at all am not afraid of you, and thus you are stronger, than I. As what your force consists? You can scratch with your claws and bite with your teeth the woman in its quarrels. I repeat it, I as a whole am more powerful than you; and if
you doubt concerning it, allow us to struggle and see, who will win. " The mosquito, seeming it рожком, dumped itself on the Lion and stung it on nostrils and parts of the person, deprived hair. Trying to break it, the Lion has torn itself with its claws while it has not punished
itself(himself) strictly. The mosquito thus prevailed on the Lion, and, hooting about in a song of triumph, has departured. But shortly subsequently it became confused in loops of a web and has been eaten by a spider. It very much mourned over its destiny, speaking, " to Mountain - I! That I who can
wage war successfully with the hugest animals, should be lost directly from this spider, most insignificant of insects! "
